Seongpil Hong joined Acropolis in 2013 as an investment Analyst and is an Investment Committee member. He is responsible for researching, evaluating and recommending equity securities and monitoring and balancing investment portfolios for the firm’s clients. He also contributes to the creation and improvement of the firm’s investment models.
Prior to Acropolis, Seongpil earned two masters degrees, in Applied Economics in 2011 and Statistics in 2013, both from Southern Illinois University. Seongpil earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2007 from the University of Missouri St. Louis. In 2018, Seongpil successfully completed the Chartered Financial Analyst program and is currently a CFA Charterholder.
Seongpil is a native of S. Korea and a proud father of two.
