About Acropolis
Acropolis was born from a simple idea: In an industry where high-quality, objective advice is hard to come by, we can make a difference by putting the client’s interests above our own.
Acropolis is a fee-only wealth management firm, serving individual investors, institutional investors, and 401k plan sponsors. We specialize in retirement planning together with 401k and IRA rollovers.

Mission and Values
Acropolis works with investments, but we also invest in personal relationships.
Our Mission is to offer our clients objective, honest advice above all else. With integrity, fiduciary responsibilities, and full transparency, we present a collaborative, personalized approach to investment management.
We value honesty and personal relationships.
When Acropolis was formed, any business structure could have been established. We chose to structure our company as a Registered Investment Advisor and accept the accompanying fiduciary responsibility that requires us to put clients’ interests first.
We value our clients’ objectives.
We often preach taking the path with the least risk. When working to establish our client’s goals, we also work strategically to reduce the risk necessary to meet those goals.
We value the process.
Given that we can’t predict or control markets, we focus on the things that we can control. Having clearly defined and disciplined practices in place helps us manage risk and reduce the powerful emotional influences that can dramatically affect an investment portfolio.
We value your success.
We invest alongside our clients, using the same investment approach, philosophy, and security selection strategy. This may seem obvious, but there are many people in the investment business who don’t follow their own advice. John Bogle, the founder of Vanguard mutual funds, said that among the 4,356 equity mutual funds, 53.1 percent of the fund managers didn’t own a single share of the funds they managed. We believe that putting our own money at risk in the same securities as our clients keeps us keenly aware of the risks and opportunities.
Fiduciary Financial Advisors
What Makes a Financial Advisor a Fiduciary?
We are fiduciaries because we act in our clients’ best interests. We act in our clients’ best interests because we are Acropolis.
Becoming a fiduciary was a simple decision because it was the right decision. As an SEC-registered investment advisor, we are obligated to do what’s best for those who trust us with their investments. Of the estimated 12,000 registered investment advisers in the United States, Acropolis is one of a few hundred that are certified by the Centre for Fiduciary Excellence.
It’s easy to say that we’re fiduciaries – that we do what’s best for our clients. This is how we implement it.
Investments: We provide advice that is rooted in empirical evidence, including Modern Portfolio Theory.
Safeguarding Assets: We work with two established, secure broker-dealers to take custody of your funds and execute trades.
Fees: We are completely transparent about our fee structure from the outset of the relationship. Additionally, Acropolis does not recommend investments where clients pay a commission.
Knowing Our Clients: We take time to understand your goals. And those can only be understood after we get to know you as a person, your financial situation, and your ambitions. That information and bond allow us to customize a plan to meet your needs.
Mitigate Conflicts of Interest: We openly disclose any potential conflicts of interest and design policies and procedures to mitigate them.

As a fiduciary, as a team, as a trusted partner, we are interested in building the best plan for you.
